Mrs. Domenica Holman
School counselors are student advocates who work cooperatively with educational staff; parents; community; and, local educational specialists who assist students in social, emotional and educational development through counseling, consultation and coordination. At BTEC, we support all students to succeed in a changing world by addressing their technical / workplace readiness and personal/social needs.
Students interested in any of BTEC’s Career Pathways are encouraged to request a tour. All of our programs follow the CTECS school calendar schedule. Students interested in attending are encouraged to apply as early as possible even though applications are accepted throughout the school year. Applications received by February 1st are given first consideration.
BTEC makes every effort to accommodate our applicants who wish to attend. All students who meet our admissions criteria will be accepted until programs reach capacity.

Rita’s First-Gen Scholarship
The CEO of Bold.org, a student scholarship platform, just announced a new $26,986 for high school seniors who will be first-generation college students.
In recognition of the difficulties that first-generation students often face, this scholarship seeks to ease the burden of tuition so that all students can pursue higher education, regardless of financial status. Any first-generation high school senior may apply, but the ideal applicant is one who has overcome obstacles or made sacrifices for their education.
All GPAs will be considered for this scholarship, and we’d love to receive applications from Bristol Technical Education Center students!
