School counselors are student advocates who work cooperatively with educational staff; parents; community; and, local educational specialists who assist students in social, emotional and educational development through counseling, consultation and coordination. At BTEC, we support all students to succeed in a changing world by addressing their technical / workplace readiness and personal/social needs.

Students interested in any of BTEC’s Career Pathways are encouraged to request a tour. All of our programs follow the CTECS school calendar schedule. Students interested in attending are encouraged to apply as early as possible even though applications are accepted throughout the school year. Applications received by February 1st are given first consideration.

BTEC makes every effort to accommodate our applicants who wish to attend. All students who meet our admissions criteria will be accepted until programs reach capacity.
