School counselors are student advocates who work cooperatively with educational staff; parents; community; and, local educational specialists who assist students in social, emotional and educational development through counseling, consultation and coordination. At BTEC, we support all students to succeed in a changing world by addressing their technical / workplace readiness and personal/social needs.

Students interested in any of BTEC’s Career Pathways are encouraged to request a tour. All of our programs follow the CTECS school calendar schedule. Students interested in attending are encouraged to apply by the application priority deadline, even though applications are accepted throughout the school year.

BTEC makes every effort to accommodate our applicants who wish to attend. All students who meet our admissions criteria will be accepted until programs reach capacity.
